Painting Party

For Family Day we thought it would be fun to let Nate get creative and paint. We figured he would make the next masterpiece… However, it turned out that Meghan did most of the painting and Nate just wore the paint! He started by racing over to the paint right away, but his enthusiasm quickly stalled. It made for some good laughs, so we will likely try it again when he’s a bit older.

1. On medium to high heat bring mixture to a boil, whisking constantly until a goop (“technical term”) starts to form (approx. 10 min).
2. Remove from heat, and continue to whisk for one minute until texture resembles pudding.
3. Add food colouring (we used 5 drops and it didn’t seem to stain his skin at all, but provided vibrant “paint”).
