First step to a big boy bed

This weekend we took the first step towards getting Nate out of the confines of his crib and into a big boy bed!

At daycare he has been napping out of his playpen for about a month – since he climbed out of his playpen one day and started playing instead.

We took down the one wall, and replaced it with a much shorter wall that basically stops him from rolling out. We weren’t sure how it would go; he might just get out of the bed and start knocking on the door trying to get out. However, the first night was a success!  Perhaps over the next few months we will continue to break down the walls.
