11 Months

This month has been all about walking… more and more steps each day since he first took some steps for me at the beginning of the month. This past weekend we did a step-count and he took 15 steps at once! He’s also getting a lot better at his dismount from the couch, even did an awesome little bounce and twist to get off for Erik. Still trying to figure out how to go down the stairs – can go down one or two then he decides to go back up, or tries to jump off into my arms.

The other big development this month was no more purées! Which was  awesome since I recently stocked the fridge with puréed peas and carrots… but it is handy having him feed himself lunch and dinner. Seems to love ham and blueberries best, but eats his fair share of hard-boiled eggs, chicken, peas and carrots. Likes pasta as well, as long as it’s smothered in tomato sauce.

We’ve been spending lots and lots of time outside which has been great. Nate loves watching the planes, birds and cars go by. Hoping to hit the beach soon!
